With user notes in Joomla 2.5 you can add in extra little bits of information about each user to help remind you of who they are and their exact role on the website.
User notes can also be used to track issues that registered users may be having on a website. User related problems with their accounts can be added to User Notes allowing website administrators to follow up and attend to issues a user may be having.
Adding a New User Note
To add a new note
Navigate to the user management screen from the backend administrator menu.
Users -> User Management
You will be presented with the list of all the users on your website.
Click on the "Add Note" icon next to a user's name.
From here you will be presented with the "Notes" screen.
Form here you can enter in the notes of the user that you have selected.
Click on the save icon when you're done and the note of the user will be saved to the database.
Retrival of the notes is easily obtained from either the User Notes screen or the User Manager screen.
