Mosets Tree User Management

The people search directory part of the site is controlled by the component Mosets Tree, which is identified by the green leaf icon and can be found under Components -> Mosets Tree.

The directory is initially set up with the data provided but as user accounts were not created for each of the users, the administrators of the site will have to match the accounts with the directory entries as people claim their entries in order for the user to update and modify their details.

  1. Log in to the admin area of the website
  2. Navigate to Components > Mosets Tree
  3. Click on the Add Listing icon that can be found in the top of the left hand menu of the component

  4. The add listing screen will appear for the site administrator to add in the new details of the staff member.

  5. Fill in the appropriate fields for each of the users.

    Modifying an existing user is a similar process to that of creating a new user.

    Each of the listings in the system are originally entered without an owner attached to the listings.

    When a user comes to claim their listing it will trigger a workflow process that will require an administrator to verify that the right user has claimed the right listing.


    From the administrator area,

      1. Navigate to the Mosets Tree component via Components > Mosets Tree in the backend of Joomla
      2. From the left hand menu in the component, click on Claims. Here you will be displayed a list of all the current claims in the system.

      3. The listing is displayed on the left while the claimer is displayed right after it. If these details match then it is likely that the right person is claiming the listing.
      4. Click approve and hit save if the listings are correct. If they are not then click reject or ignore. The user will be notified about their claim status.
