Link to a Menu Item

In most situations it is a good idea to link to the menu structure within the site. This is usually required as module positions are assigned to menu items and for them to appear, links to these menu items are required.

To insert a link to an menu item from an article,

  1. Highlight some text in the editor pane and click insert/edit link
  2. When the advanced link window appears, mouse over the menu list item and expand the item. You will see a selection of menu structures that are currently in the system.

  3. Click and expand the appropriate menu item and browse to the particular menu item that you want to link to.

  4. Click to select the menu item and the system will automatically generate the code required to link to that item.

  5. Click insert and hit the Save icon for your item.
